As of November 30th 2020, Red Hat will stop support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 5.
This means any customers still running RHEL 5 (with Extended Lifecycle support) will need to look at migrating to a newer supported release of RHEL to maintain secure and supported infrastructure.
Also, on November 30th 2020, Red Hat will stop Maintenance support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 6.
This means any customers still running RHEL 6 will need to either purchase an Extended Lifecycle support subscription for each RHEL 6 instance or to look at migrating to a newer supported release of RHEL to maintain secure and supported infrastructure.
If you have any questions or would like to investigate migrating your customer’s infrastructure, please reach out to the Red Hat team here at Ingram Micro to discussion options!
